We met up at Goodrich our usual meet up spot and left for the campground. On the way there were severe thunder storms. They lit up the sky in a crazy frenzy. It was pouring and the wind was crazy. Luckily the rain died down by the time we got there and we were able to set up. When we were almost done, Alex said he had checked his weather bug application on his iPhone and there was no need to put up a tarp. Within five minutes when nobody had the tarp put up and it started to pour again. We had cracker barrel sometime close to the morning. After that we went and got some much needed rest. The next morning Josh and Owen got up early to make breakfast pizza. It was judged good by everyone. After that we got ready for the canoe trip while Josh and Owen made sandwiches. The canoe trip went pretty normal until a canoe got stuck on a log at the beginning of the rapids. There were two younger people who got out of the canoe. Then another canoe came up next to it and the force of it crushed the first one. The rest of the trip went normal with having lunch at the sixth bridge and ending at the eighth bridge. We went back to camp and relaxed while Josh and Owen made Zingy Pork Chops. Alex was moving all around the camp site trying to avoid the gnats that were following him. The Pork Chops were delicious and when everyone was done, some people decided to go wade in the river. Soon Josh and Owen had the desert ready and everyone had the good bars or as Josh likes to call it good glop. We cleaned up the cooking stuff and went to sleep. The next morning we had cereal and packed up and left.
